Super McKenzie Overview
Many products that normally require cart rotation in a dry can now be batch-dried in the Super McKenzie - optimal results with minimal oversight. This dehydrator is quite a different beast than the regular McKenzie tunnel: the redesigned drying chamber is now slighter wider and slightly shorter, in order to best channel large quantities of hot air – hot air that circulates first in one direction, then in a reverse flow. We submit that hot air flowing in two directions is better than hot air that just flows in one direction. It’s better in terms of improved product flavor, texture, color, and product uniformity. And for our clients doing large-scale dehydrating it’s better for the bottom line, period.
